symantec pattern feb 16 -2007

hi all
last friday i attend symantec .. but i didn't get shortlisted .. i done well but i don't know why am not get shortlisted ..
the test conducted by merit trac
it consists of two sections
1. Apptitude section
2. computer section
1. Apptitude section
in the apptitude section the questions were similar to the merit trac apptitude questions
a) replacing $ for 0 , * for 1 and then giving some number like $$$**$ and ask to convert to decimal (8 questions)
b) mental ability
2. computer section
in the computer section they were three sections
1) c
2) c++
3) java
