Latest Satyam paper at R.G.M college of Engg &Tech, Nandyal on 18th May, 2007
As usual, Satyam’s selection procedure had 3 rounds:
1. Written Test: (No. Of questions: 15, Duration: 30 minutes, Negative marking)
Most of the questions were taken from R.S.Aggrawal’s book. Some questions had long description of about 4 to 5 lines. Some questions are described below:
i) There was a problem related to calculation of compound interest.
ii) Another question was related to data sufficiency
iii) One series was given and it was required to find the next one.
iv) There was a question on calendar.
v) One question went like this: A container has milk and water in the ration of x:y. If z quantity of milk is added, the ratio becomes w:q. Find the value of z.
2: Group discussion
The topic for group discussion was “Should Intermediate marks be added to CET results or not?” More mark is given for those candidates who initiate the discussion. Also, it is better to participate in concluding the discussion.
3: HR and Technical interview
After usual enquiry of personal detail, they started with technical questions which were mostly related to data structures, linked list, pointer etc. Questions were not tough and were of basic type.
