Rediff Placement Paper

There were two parts objective and subjective.there were 35 objective questions and 3 subjective questions. Subjective questions were a kind of tricky.
21 people were shortlisted out of which 2 got the offer.

The format, length, and focus areas of the written test - (90
mins) written test with focus on C,data structure ,c++ and 2-3 questions from java. There were very few question from OS and
network(negligible in case of dbms).
There were only three non-technical questions which were easy. There was one cube problem(face painted). Other was cow problem(a certain no. of cow gives certain amount of milk).
C and data structure questions were easy.more questions were from c++ in comparison to that of c and data structure. In java they asked about finally (exception handling) which was easy.
in c++ there was question on virtual function,function overloading and virtual destructor,execution of
the order of the constructor and destructor of the base and derived class.
