hi, friends...........myself Monica Mishra.................I got selected in L & T infotech yesterday and want 2 share my experience wid u.students 4rm 3 colleges had come.total of 440
We had 2 go thru the following--------------
1.Aptitude(90 questions- 90 minutes)
2.G.D.
3.Profile Interview
Aptitude :
It consisted of 3 sections. There were 3 different sets of questions.
1]Quantitative(30 questions)
It is from R.S.agarwal(as it is) they don't even change the values, be prepared wid the following topics thoroughly %, permutation/combination , Time & work, Time, speed& distance, Profit & loss, Ratio & proportion, Mixtures and alligation
2]Logical & Analytical:(30 questions)
It consists of missing figures, Ques on how many squares and triangles in the figure, if xxxx is coded as yyyy, then how is mmmm coded as,
A situation is given and asked whether the options are inconsistent or do they elaborate the discussion or do they support the fact,
if P*Q means P is sister of Q, P+Q means P is Q daughter(i don't remember the correct ques), then how can v express that T is aunt of S
3]Verbal(30 questions)
It was easy, so attend it first....u hav 2 b very pit-pat wid synonyms.eg...wat does Sanguine mean, wat is Faux Pas..., etc Analogy ques---chaff : wheat? the relation is chaff is the outer covering of wheat, so search 4 such a relationship in the option
Syllogism..........All apples r mangoes.....All mangoes r bananas.......then u hav 2 find a valid relationship 4rm the option
A small Passage and ans 4rm the passage directly...............first read the questions & then the passage, it will b easier 2 search the ques
if P is b4 Q and Q comes together wid R and M is in the last position , then giv the order of arrangement type questi
whether -ve marking is there or not is decided later.......so b careful.....from 440 students who appeared 160 cleared aptis

v had a grp of 15....Topic was 'Use of drugs in Sports justified?'............v had 5mins 2 think............then we were individually asked our opinion..don't look at the Mam/Sir.....talk 2 all our team-members..........make valid pts................then at the end u r allowed 2 discuss.......don't get aggressive..........don't fight......stick 2 our pt.........110 got selected in G.D. out of 160
Profile Interview
U will have 2 fill a form.......................plz fill it nicely............bcoz that is wat they refer 2 in the interviews.they don't care wat u have written in the resume......Though i m frm I.T.......i was not asked technical....but few were & very basic, according 2 me it was just a formality, not a deciding factor.............The only thing is u have 2 b confident....look in the eyes and talk......b prepared 2 defend ourself

wat books u like 2 read(I had mentioned in the form)?
Which is the latest book u have read?
u got distinction or 1st class in all the sems, except 4 the 1st? wat went wrong ?
u have mentioned that u r a hardworking person.......giv me an eg?
why have u chosen I.T?
why do EXTc, mech....,etc, ppl get into IT, according 2 u?
why is I.T in demand?
do u have any place-constraints?
R u ready 2 stand by the bond?
After 2 hrs results were accounted at 9.30 pm, and 80 out of 110 got selected and i was 1 of them.....I hope my contribution be of some help 2 u..............All the Best
