L&T INFOTECH PAPER ON 19th JANUARY
hi friends,
I have just appeared L&T Infotech selection procedure for SET (software engineer trainee) on 19th Jan 2007.
1.Aptitude
There are three different sets of paper pink,green and white,each having 90 questions to be solved in 90min.(sectional cutoff)
Each paper consist three sections
1.Quantitative(30Q)
2.verbal and nonverbal(30Q)
3.English section(30Q)
well i got a mail for interview ..which was schedule on 13th February...with all the document at 10.30 the procedure started with verification of documents...it took long time even when i was in 1st batch..i think almost 150 candidates have been called for interview....around 2pm my turn came....
1st round
for 1st few candidates they took hr interview...but as there were many ppl..they took other selection criteria...in this there were 15 candidates in a group n we all have to speak for two minutes on any non-technical topic of our choice....almost 5 got rejected in this round...a piece of advice is just speak with fluency n 3-4 logical points...u will clear this....
2.Personal interview.
IT was suppose to be tech round but all the candidates were asked hr questions only. well the interviewer asked me which topic i choose n 1st round at what i said so it was pretty easy...then she asked me y u want to choose lnt over patni..(as i have job offer from patni also).. i explained....n she cleared me here also wat i maintained was fluency in communication...so do work on that.... they gave me the offer letter with next month joining date..package was of 2.22lac..with 2year bond
A piece of advice to all of u who r still hunting for right job just keep on trying till u succeed...take my example its since june06 my result announced n i was hunting for job...so u never no wen the fate has it.. n don't pull back our self because % criteria if u have less than that..i have 57%(agg)..n LnT has very strict criteria..but i think as requirment were high many of us got through even then..i no ppl with lesses then 58 who got job at TCS(60% needed)..satyam(58%needed)....so keep on trying

so the bottom line is ...keep trying..n never say die.....all that best
