IVY Comptech Placement Paper

Written test consisted of 35 objective questions in which there were t0 aptitude which was average and 25 technical questoins which included only c and DATA structure.
The total time was 45 minutes.The standard of c and Data structure questions was slightly less than average.There was on subjective question in which we had to write pseudo code for to write a program which reads a file in unix.
In technical question there was a question that what does extern declaration of a function mean?
What's the difference between cons char *p and char cons *p.(these two are same)
In interview they asked 2-3 puzzle which were easy and they asked one question from linked list that given a pointer to a node in a single linked list how to delete that (the solution is copy the data of the next node in the node to be deleted and delete this) What's the difference between overloading and overriding? what's the difference between constructor and copy constructor?
The selection was mainly done on the basis of marks obtained in the written test. Those students were selected who did very well in the written test and in also interview as well since in interview they didn't ask tough question.
