Merittrac Question Paper

Though personally I am not a great fan of Merittrac and the standard of there questions, still unfortunately many big companies and specially mass recruiters are using them for campus placements. Those who don't know what si Merittrac, it's a organization to whom IT companies have started outsourcing all the placement work of setting and taking exams. I am looking to write a serperate article on Merittrac as I just want this one to focus on the kind of questions that they give. Please Note that these are latest questions but obviously they will change them though I don't think so that they will be changing the patter or type of questions, just there values. If you have new questions than please do tell here in comments or in forums
Normaly they have 6 sections with 75 questions in 90 minutes. The Technical sections varies according to the company requirements. So far I have seen 8 sections in various Merittrac papers
1. English(verbal)
2. Aptitude
3. C and Data Structures
4. Operating System
5. C++
6 Java
7. Unix
8. Databases
though they claim that they offer these many topics. Anyway so let's cover each section one by one -
1. English - I have given 4 exams of Merittrac and found english really easy(of Infosys' level). The questions were like fill in the blank with a/an/the (articles) or to tell the nearest synonym of underlined word. I don't think so that you can prepare for these sort of questions. But make sure that you Attempt all the questions and do not miss any. I have not heard about any negative marking in there exams so far. Also one more thing, make sure you clear individual cut off in all the sections. Companies often keep individual cutoff in the sections so don't screw any section badly
