Job Description: 

The Graphics Core Engineering (GCE) team needs an experienced software developer to deliver 2D display graphics solutions for the integrated graphics platform device drivers. GCE is a part of the graphics engineering team within the chipset group under the mobility group. In this position, you will be responsible for feature development and/or support of UI and applications, Microsoft* XP* and/or Vista* support to enable the mobile and desktop platforms. You will have the opportunity to learn about future 2D display graphics technologies. This position provides a peek into future Microsoft* operating systems software changes required to maintain compatibility.
Desired Candidate Profile
You should possess a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with more than three years of experience in software development. Additional qualifications include:
- Demonstrated, development and debugging expertise in C, C++ and VC++
- Hands on experience in developing Microsoft* Windows* User Interface (UI) and applications
- Experience using SoftICE* or WinDBG*
- Experience in software life cycles, software configuration management and change control
- Familiarity Component Object Model (COM) technologies would be an added advantage
- Experience in graphics and/or display would be an added advantage
