1) Give us a brief introduction about yourself?
In this question you need to describe about yourself make a point not to exaggerate yourself. Also he is giving you a chance to impress him. Give an outline about who you are and how capable you are. Try to keep it short and simple and that will be much appreciated by the interviewer.

2) What made you to apply for this organization?
When an interviewer asks you this question he is testing your knowledge about this company as to why you are interested in this company. Remember to correlate your job functions and the relevance of company`s requirement. Also do some homework about the company you are going to apply.

3) Can you please explain about the projects which you have handled?
Describe about all the projects which you have handled so far and then start to explain first try to give an outline about the project then step by step start to explain to him in detail about your achievements.

4) How do you balance your work schedule?
In this question he wants to know whether you are organized or not he basically wants to know how planned you are. Detail him about your work timings and your family, how you spend time with them by efficiently managing work at hand. Tell him all that’s possible which you do to meet deadlines.

5) How do you handle stress of working late shifts?
In this question he likes to know two things about you first he wants to know whether you can work late nights at times of urgency. Also remember if you have worked late night the day before still the employer likes to see you again at the office. Tell him how you handle stress (Meditation, time management, yoga, exercise, etc).

6) Where do you like to be after few years?
In this question he wants to know your long term and short term objectives explain to him about your goals. State something which is achievable within the timeframe of five years. Also you can state about the promotions or salary hike you got in your previous company.

7) Why should we hire you (or) how best can you help the company?
In this question try to be describe you technical and managerial skills which can directly and indirectly help the company. About your previous achievements and laurels which helped your ex employer. Basically he wants to know how best you are suited to the company`s requirement.

8) Are you comfortable in a team?
Try to answer this question by explaining to him about your team leading skills, team play, past achievements which you achieved by being a part of the team are very important. State them how many members were there in your team and how you worked with them for the completion of project. Be honest.

9) What is your last drawn package?
In this question you need to answer about all the benefits you obtained in your previous employment. Be as specific as possible and tell him about your current desire of salary and benefits. This will clarify his thoughts. Clarity should be present in your answer.

10) What made you to leave your previous job?
For this question never be negative or pessimist in your opinion. Try to be as positive as you can about your previous employer because this will help not give out negative vibes about you. At times it speaks a lot about your self and also he actually may know about the company.

11) Did you ever miss a deadline?
In corporate sectors there is something known as a deadline which is set weekly, biweekly or monthly to access progress on a specific project. If you ever missed one explain it to him about how you missed it and what circumstances prevailed at that time. Don’t try to bluff the interviewer because he already has recommendation letters given by your previous employer.

12) Tell us about the sports you play?
Explain to him about all the games you play. It would be an added advantage if you can include sports played during your school, competitions participated, games won, whether you were the captain of the team, how you supported your team during worst seasons, moral courage you gave, etc.

13) State us your hobbies and interests?
Hobbies are done during the leisure time and they involve extra effort from you besides your regular carrier. Try to describe something which you do apart from your work like gardening, etc.

14) How often did you go to tours in your previous employment?
Interviewer wants to know whether you are comfortable in going to tours. Traveling is present in many corporate jobs it can be either for a lecture to fresher’s, business development, new technology introduction, etc.

15) To what extent do you have knowledge about programming?
This is a very important question make good use of it by explaining to him about how you prepared reports, programs, flow charts, designs, etc. Try to explain to him about all the computer programs you have learned so far. Also he wants to know which programming language you have used on live projects.

16) Do you have international exposure?
Answer this appropriately if you have international exposure then tell him that you have and how best you can use it for development of the organization. Tell him about the places you visited and the purpose you went there for.

17) Can you explain the new avenues which IT companies can look for?
Interviewer wants to know whether you are struck with the time or you move with the time. Keep abreast of all the new technologies in your field or specialization. Explain to him about the future of your specialization and the new developments from major competing companies.
