Give me the list of some good search engines.

I want to know a nice list of search engines other than google,yahoo and MSN which people often uses as I want to compare there results and see which is better. I know google is best but I find it inefficient many times for many sentences

Google, Yahoo and Alexa are the three main search engines, generally used by users.
Alexa also provides the ranks of websites according to their popularity. Right now Yahoo is at rank one, Alexa is at rank two and Google at rank three. Google is mostly famous in Asia region, Alexa is famous in Europe and around it while Yahoo is universal.
There is DogPile which is meta search engine. There are few more like altavista which is rarely used now. If you need more info than tell me, I can give you tons of material on them.
